Submissions

Please visit the About page to understand the aim of this site and the contributions submitted to it

Readers, writers, bloggers, translators and fans of crime and mystery fiction are invited to make a submission in support of a crime or mystery novel you love. It need not be about the best or most perfect novel you have ever read but you do need to love the book enough to share your enthusiasm with others.

Contributions can take whatever form you’d like: a review, a pitch, a love letter, an ode, a video. Or something else entirely. All we ask is that you do not discuss a work you wrote or published yourself.

Submissions are welcome from anyone. You do not need to be a writer or even a blogger. You do not even need to have known Maxine Clarke (Maxine was always welcoming new readers to the crime fiction community). As long as you can send us an email and have a crime or mystery novel you love you are welcome to submit a contribution.

Contributions are posted weekly. Each submission is posted unless the administrators of Petrona Remembered consider it out of step with the aim of this site (e.g. excessive use of profanity or overt commercialism). Contributions will not be substantially edited but may undergo minor editing, proofreading, re-formatting as necessary.

If you have any queries about the site or making a submission please contact us via the form below. Your contribution can take whatever format you’d like but please do include the full name of the book and the author and, if you have it, the year of publication.
